Founded with gratitude for our journey and dedication to our children and homeland.
We are Mongolian immigrants who built our lives in the United States. We are grateful for everything this country has given us. But as our children grow up here, we've asked ourselves a question: how do we make sure they never forget who they are?
Our language, our holidays, our music, and our traditions are part of us. We want our children to know them, love them, and pass them on. So we bring our community together in Atlanta to celebrate our culture through folk dance, traditional games, and the food we grew up with.
We've also learned a lot here, about education, community, and how small ideas can make a big difference. We want to share that with the people back home. Our first project is free community book boxes in Mongolia: a simple idea we saw work in American neighborhoods, which can give children in underserved communities access to books. It is just the beginning.
In 2026, three friends founded Steppe of Hope to do both: keep our roots strong here, and help our homeland grow. We are small and volunteer-run, and we'd love for you to join us.
“Keep our roots strong here, and help our homeland grow.”
